Once you enter your bills, you will need to get them paid. To start:
Navigate to Pay Bills Menu
Click on the + menu located in the top right corner of the screen. Under the “Vendors” column select the Pay Bills tab.
Select Payment Account
Click the Payment Account drop down menu located on the far-left side of the screen. Select the appropriate account from the available options.
If you are paying the bill(s) with a check or from an online transfer, select the Checking option. If you are using a credit card, select the appropriate Credit Card account.
Choose Date to Show Bills
Suppose you have too many bills and will like to filter the list, you can use the date filter function to accomplish this task.
To select the dates that you want to show bills from, select the Filter tab, and enter the dates you would like.
Choose the Bills You Want to Pay
Check the boxes beside all the bills you want to pay.
To select all the boxes, simply check the first box, and all the boxes will be automatically selected for you.
If you want to make a partial payment on a bill, simply change the amount in the Payment text box. QuickBooks Support Services in Springfield, IL keeps track on any amount still owed on a bill.
Choose the Date to Pay Your Bills
To choose the date you plan to pay the bill(s) you selected, or the date you already paid them, first locate the Payment date text box. Next, select the small calendar icon and select the appropriate date.
Enter Payment Method
Check the Print later box if you need to print out a check.
If you wrote a check by hand, enter the check number in the Starting check no. text box.
Review and Pay
Take a moment to review the dates, amounts, and payment methods selected to make sure they are correct. Once you are sure the information is the way you want it, click Save and close to pay the bills and close out of the current screen. If you want to save a bill and still continue paying bills on the current page, click Save. If you would like a printed copy for your records, select the Save and print option.
